Cinema Today has recently reported that the hugely successful horror film Sadako 3D will soon be adding a whole new dimension to the movie experience in the real time which Kadokawa is calling “4D”. It will be showcased at the Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku theater in Tokyo’s Shinjuku ward on June 7.
The 4D screening will feature addition of effects such as large clouds of white smoke on theather. Some seats will also include Velcro to bind people’s arms, audience members legs will be grabbed during the film. And a well will stand in the theater, and a group of Sadakos will also appears during the film.
In the film scenario, Sadako is the vengeful ghost of the daughter of a famous psychic. She is connected to a cursed video tape featuring a collection of disturbing images; those who watch the tape will be killed one week later.
Koji Suzuki is the author of the original novel series that inspired the saga, had wrote a new original story for this movie.
