According to Reuters, Samsung’s head of telecommunications JK Shin expects the Galaxy S III to settl the record of 10 million units by the end of July.
Last we heard, that the Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S II had moved over 52 million units worldwide between them. According to earlier reports there were 9 million Galaxy S III pre-orders before the official launch of the smartphone.
It’s yet unclear if those 10 million units are sold or shipped worldwide, but it’s an impressive number either way. The Galaxy S III has been available for just under a month now, with lots of countries and carries still waiting to get it and some unable to fulfill orders due to “overwhelming demand”.
