Back to a few days ago we’ve heard about a new Nexus Phone that this time will be made by LG, and that will be based on LG’s latest flagship the Optimus G.
The rumor mill seems to be true (or untill now it goes to have a confirmation soon, or not). According to the latest reports of an XDA-Developers forum goer has posted a collection of photos for the E960, which appears to be a variant of the Optimus G — until you realize that it’s using software navigation keys, doesn’t quite resemble the international or AT&T Optimus G models and is oddly badged as the “Full JellyBean on Mako”.
According to the NenaMark2 benchmark score uploaded on the Nena Innovation AB website, the LG device has a display resolution of 1280 x 768 (it shows up as 1196 because of the space taken up by the navigations keys). It also has a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 320 GPU, which means it is the same APQ8064 found on the Optimus G.
That’s all we can say for now. We are definitely hoping to see more of this phone in the coming weeks and learn more about it, especially on what’s ticking inside that sleek body.
And we’re quite sure that we’ll hear more about it until Google or LG confirms it.
