It’s done. After weeks of teasing and expectations, HTC has finally officially announced its new high-end smartphone: the One. Forget the term M7. No surprises on the smartphone, as it is faithful to the leaks that have traveled the web in recent weeks.
The One features a 4.7-inch LCD full HD 1080p display with (468 PPI), a quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.7 GHz with 2GB RAM, 32GB capacity, sound BOOMSOUND , a frontal video camera of 2MP for HD calling, a BSI sensor 13MPx F/2.0 “revolutionary”, an IR port or a battery of 2300mAh. All under Android 4.1 with Sense 5 overcoat, soberly named New Sense.
HTC chose an aluminum unibody for a very chic. No big surprises on that side, while being consistent with previous leaks. Note that HTC has chosen to integrate the antennas directly in the shell, so you do not have reception problems.
