Google has been very successful with its Nexus devices, despite some pitfalls for the delivery of Nexus 4. It is therefore logical that the Mountain View company continues to build on this range. Upcoming devices are also highly expected to firm up and the first rumors are already surfacing the web. They concern the Nexus 5 and a new tablet named Nexus 7.7 .
It’s the Korean site Ruliweb throwing these rumors. Begin with the Nexus 5. According to the sources site, the device will be equipped with a 5-inch Full HD. It would also have an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel rear camera with and a 3-megapixel front camera. In addition, the user has the choice between 8GB and 16GB of storage. And everything is runing on Android Key Lime Pie and still manufactured by LG.
On the slate side, Ruliweb indicates that it would have a 7.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1920X1200 pixels. Again, the Tegra 4 will be at the party and there an 8GB of storage at minimum. But the surprise is that the tablet will also be manufactured by LG.
Of course, all tese are rumors, so we suggest you to take all this with a pinch of salt, until we get a word from Google or LG to let us definitely discover these new devices.
HTC M7 is the Taiwanese company upcoming flagship device and supposedly a replacement for the One X. Has now a rendered image.
The rendered image looks strikingly similar to the BlackBerry L-series device that we have seen in the past, which itself sort of looks like the iPhone 5. The display is flanked by two colored plastic portions on the top and the bottom. Both areas have a rather pronounced grille area, with the top also housing the front facing camera and the various sensors. Unfortunately, this is the only picture we have for now.
The specs, as we had learned before, include a 4.7-inch, 1920 x 1080 resolution display with an incredible 468 ppi pixel density, 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space, 13 megapixel, f/2.0 rear camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera with 1080p video recording.
It is being rumored that the M7 will likely be announced at Mobile World Congress this year.
The Samsung Galaxy S IV next Samsung flagship keeps talking about himself.
An image alleged to be of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S IV smartphone was published on Friday by SamMobile. If authentic, the image reveals that Samsung will finally ditch its traditional home and navigational buttons for on-screen keys.
The bezel around the device is thinner, giving the upcoming Galaxy smartphone a near edge-to-edge display, similar to Motorola’s DROID RAZR M.
The Galaxy S IV is rumored to feature a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED full HD 1920 X 1080 display, and include a 2GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
It should be noted, however, that SamMobile could not 100% confirm that the image is authentic. The most recent rumors suggest the Galaxy S IV will be released in April. But with the Samsung Lebanon facebook’s account hinting a realese date to May, we will hear a lot about the GS IV.
In the mean time you should take this rumors with a pinch of salt, until we hear an official word from Samsung.
