One of the most awaited smartphones from the Cupertino firm, Apple’s iPhone 5 is now official. After so months of ongoing rumors like the most amazing one, Apple has just make an end to all this and that, and they come just to unveil their most latest iPhone to date.
The iPhone 5 will gather so many new features, such as the 4-inch Retina display with a resolution of 1136×640 pixels (326ppi), 100Mb LTE connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi. The new iPhone is thinner – 7.6mm and lighter – 112 grams than its 4S counterpart.
The iPhone 5 will pack Apple’s latest A6 CPU, which is said to offer 2x faster processor and graphics performance. We’re still don’t have an idea about the number of cores and clock speeds though.
Other specs are the camera features which is the same 8MP sensor as the one on the iPhone 4S, but the sensor is 25% smaller than before. There is a newly announced panorama mode, which obviously stitches together full res photos as the sample showcased had 28megapixel resolution.
Further more the iPhone 5 is naturally going to run on iOS 6. Another thing the iOS 6 free update will hit the previous generations of the iPhone on September 19. Another thing to be mentioned the iPhone 5 comes now with an upgraded front-facing camera, which is now can support 720p video recording.
The pre-orders for the iPhone 5 will begins on Friday September 14. And you can purchase yours starting from September 21 if you live in USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Singapore or Hong Kong. 22 more countries will have their part starting from September 28, while before the end of the year the Apple iPhone 5 will have total of 100 country reached.
Unsurprisingly, Apple’s iPhone 5 will cost 199$ with a two-year contract in the US. By the coming of the newcomer, the 3GS will see him self out of contract. The 8GB Apple iPhone 4 and the 16GB iPhone 4S models stay available for free and 99$ on a contract, respectively.
